What You'll Do:
Litigation Guru: You'll apply your deep understanding of the litigation lifecycle and its associated procedures to provide essential assistance to our lawyers. You'll be a true litigation expert!
Case Manager: You'll coordinate, organize, prepare, and interpret complex legal documents related to litigation matters. You'll build and maintain relevant databases and files, file documents, and provide copies to relevant parties. You'll be the master of case organization!
eDiscovery Specialist: You'll conduct electronic document reviews, coordinate productions of documents with attorneys, conduct searches of production databases, and handle other related eDiscovery tasks. You'll be a digital detective!
Deposition Dynamo: You'll assist attorneys with preparing materials for depositions. You'll be a key player in the deposition process!
Research Whiz: You'll perform factual research in internal and external databases and libraries. You'll be a research pro!
Trial Titan: You'll coordinate trial preparation, attend trial and provide support to attorneys at court and agency hearings, and coordinate logistics, including local/remote setup and travel arrangements. You'll be a trial superstar!
Collaborative Partner: You'll partner and coordinate with internal resources and outside vendor services. You'll be a team player!
Process Improver: You'll coordinate with other areas/departments to develop efficient procedures and communications to streamline processes. You'll be a champion of efficiency!
What You'll Bring:
Proficiency in MS Outlook and web-based conferencing/sharing applications.
Proficiency in MS Word and document editing/comparison applications.
Proficiency in MS Excel and spreadsheet/database applications.
Proficiency in MS PowerPoint and presentation applications.
Experience with transcript management applications (e.g., LiveNote).
Proficiency in cite-checking/bluebooking.
Proficiency in online research resources (e.g., LexisNexis/Westlaw), as well as utilizing PACER, CM/ECF, and other electronic court and agency databases.
Knowledge of relevant jurisdictional/court/agency processes and procedures.
Experience with timekeeping and expense reporting applications.
Knowledge of legal billing processes.
At least 5 years of paralegal experience (required).
At least 5 years of litigation experience (required).
Trial/Arbitration/Mediation experience (required).
ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate (preferred).
