Job Description

Overview: Responsible for the movement and disposal of medical waste, including potentially infectious waste as well as general waste, from various collection points until its final removal from the facility. Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

• Assists in medical waste transport as needed, following proper handling instructions

• Completes paperwork in a timely and accurate manner

• Identifies equipment malfunctions in emergency situations, including power failure and water leaks, and notifies appropriate personnel

• Cleans equipment and surrounding area

• Maintains equipment records and other required documents in compliance with legal regulations

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is $15per hour - $24.32per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
