Job Title : Senior Network Design & Implementation Engineer (Cisco, Extreme, Aruba)

Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in network engineering.
Strong understanding of networking protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs , etc.
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Aruba, and Extreme Networks (mandatory).
Experience in network virtualization, automation ( Ansible, Python, Terraform ).
Experience with cloud networking ( AWS, Azure ) and SD-WAN solutions.
Experience with network segmentation and Zero Trust architecture.
Experience working in enterprise or large-scale infrastructure environments.
Proficiency in configuring and maintaining firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
Familiarity with network monitoring and management platforms.
Understanding of wireless deployment and troubleshooting techniques.
Must have valid CCNA (or equivalent); CCNP/CCIE/CCDP is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Create detailed network documentation, including design diagrams, implementation plans, and standard operating procedures.
Evaluate and recommend networking hardware and software (Cisco, Aruba, Extreme).
Perform network capacity planning and performance tuning.
Design and implement LAN/WAN/WLAN solutions, including for Cisco, Extreme, and Aruba networks.
Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, wireless access points, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
Implement routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and VLAN segmentation.
Execute network upgrades and migrations with minimal downtime.
Automate routine tasks using scripting tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform preferred).
Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, etc.
Diagnose and resolve network performance, connectivity, or configuration issues.
Provide Tier 3 support and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
Enforce network security best practices and implement access control policies.
Conduct vulnerability scans and security assessments.
Support compliance initiatives and ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's in engineering, computer science, or any other related field.
