The Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled Escalation Team Advisor to join our Technical Assistance Center (TAC) . In this role, you’ll act as a key technical expert supporting TAC Advisors, field teams, and leadership in diagnosing and resolving complex vehicle issues. You’ll collaborate closely with Engineering, Brand Quality, and Field Operations, and serve as the main escalation point for high-level technical concerns.

What You’ll Do
Support TAC Advisors with complex vehicle diagnostics and repair strategies
Serve as a single-point contact for escalated technical issues from field personnel and leadership
Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to identify and address emerging vehicle concerns
Author and publish technical bulletins and service communications
Use data and tools to analyze trends and contribute to root-cause resolutions
Escalate critical or high-impact issues as needed, and drive follow-up resolution
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
10+ years of automotive technical experience (dealership or TAC preferred)
2+ current ASE certifications or a 2-year technical degree
Strong understanding of vehicle systems (powertrain, chassis, electrical, restraints, etc.)
Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Excellent customer focused problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and organizational abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in cross-functional teams
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
Proficient in (QIS, PRTS, Siebel, VIS, Global Connect, Oracle and Salesforce/OneCRM/CXConnect.)
Proficient with GM internal websites and tools including Siebel, GMA, GWM, Salesforce/OneCRM/CXConnect, and MS Office products.
