Job Title: SEO Manager

Location: Remote (but the position will have occasional travel)

Pay Rate: $72,000 to $83,000 annual salary, based on experience

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

What you will be doing:

• Develop and manage comprehensive SEO strategies across technical, on-page, and local SEO
• Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits using tools like Screaming Frog, SEMrush, and Ahrefs
• Manage and mentor a small team of SEO and content professionals, fostering development and alignment
• Oversee the implementation of local SEO strategies for both single and multi-location home service clients
• Optimize website architecture, schema markup, page speed, and Core Web Vitals performance
• Configure and maintain Google Tag Manager, GA4, and conversion tracking tools
• Analyze SEO performance, provide actionable insights, and deliver regular client-facing reports
• Collaborate with writers and developers to ensure SEO best practices are followed
• Manager client meetings to explain SEO strategy, performance trends, and next steps
• Stay on top of Google algorithm updates and industry trends to evolve SEO strategy accordingly

What you will bring:

• 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, including technical and local SEO
• Preferred experience optimizing SEO for home services industries, particularly HVAC, plumbing, and electrical sectors
• 5+ years of WordPress development and optimization
• 4+ years of team management or leadership experience
• Proven expertise in local SEO, enterprise SEO, and home service business optimization
• Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website architecture
• Experience using Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Core Web Vitals tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Work collaboratively in a remote workspace with team members as well as clients to deliver a high level of service to our clients.
