Dependable Cleaning Company is excited to announce a job opening for a Residential Cleaner. This position is ideal for individuals looking for contract/temporary work in a dynamic environment that requires a keen attention to detail and a can-do attitude. As a 1099 Cleaning Contractor, the selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of residences in Northern Virginia. This is not a remote job; thus, physical presence at various cleaning sites is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform detailed residential cleaning tasks effectively and in a timely manner, adhering to set schedules.
• Ensure all rooms are cared for according to company standards and client specifications, which includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Handle special requests for cleaning services courteously and efficiently.
• Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and notify management when supplies are low.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and in good working order; report any malfunctions or breakdowns to management immediately.
• Provide excellent customer service, respecting client’s privacy and property.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures from the company and government.

Requirements

• Must operate as a 1099 independent contractor.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Physical ability to clean, including lifting 20–25 lbs and standing for extended periods.
• Proven experience as a cleaner or similar role preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
