The Registered Nurse in the NICU provides skilled nursing care to newborns, particularly those requiring intensive care. The position requires experience in a Level III NICU setting and adherence to hospital policies.

Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care to newborns in the NICU.
- Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (Epic).
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Assist with feeding and other routine care activities.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide necessary interventions.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification.
- NRP certification.
- Experience in a Level III NICU.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Previous experience as a travel nurse.
Special Considerations:
- No travel pairs allowed.
- First-time travelers are welcome.
- The facility can call off one shift per two weeks.
- All requests for time off (RTO) must be included at the time of submission and are subject to facility approval based on staffing needs.
Scheduling:
- 3x12 hour day shifts.
- Specific shift times and scheduling details will be provided by the facility.
