Job Description

Our client is a healthcare staffing company located in the Midwest that has a reputation for excellence. The company is a combination of two complimentary businesses, both founded by clinicians. They specialize in nurse staffing, respiratory therapist staffing, allied health and also providing staffing in other specialties and clinical areas as needed with their clients. With their commitment to quality, trust, and commitment leading their growth initiatives, they provide staffing services across the United States, and especially in the Midwest.

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Recruiting Manager to lead and expand their recruitment efforts across healthcare, technology, and general labor sectors. This hybrid role involves managing a high-performing team of recruiters while also personally handling full-cycle recruiting for key roles. You will play a critical part in shaping their talent strategy and driving the organization's growth. This is a remote position but one must be located in one of the following states: Arizona, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, North Carolina, North Dakota, New Jersey, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin. Regardless of where you are located you must commit to working CST or EST hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Management & Leadership (40%)

· Supervise, train, and mentor a team of recruiters to meet organizational hiring goals.

· Design and maintain recruitment processes and performance metrics.

· Develop sourcing strategies and optimize recruitment channels.

· Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, and recruiter development plans.

· Ensure compliance with employment regulations and internal policies.

Hands-On Full-Cycle Recruiting (60%)

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, position requirements, and timelines.
  • Recruit directly for a range of positions in healthcare (e.g., nurses, therapists), technology (e.g., developers, IT support), and general labor (e.g., field service, operations).
  • Source candidates using job boards, ATS, social media, referrals, and community outreach.
  • Conduct phone screens, interviews, and coordinate hiring manager interviews.
  • Manage job postings, candidate pipelines, and onboarding documentation.
  • Ensure credentialing, background checks, and onboarding tasks are completed accurately.
  • Promote job openings and new hires on social media with employer branding in mind.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 2+ years in a managerial role .
  • Proven experience recruiting in healthcare, tech, and/or general labor industries.
  • Knowledge of healthcare licensure and credentialing requirements is a plus.
  • Proficient with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
  • One must be located in one of the following states: Arizona, Georgia, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, North Carolina, North Dakota, New Jersey, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin. As well as, commit to working CST or EST hours regardless of location.
