PROJECT/TASK MANAGER

The Project Manager (PM) shall serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in project management, utilizing best practice recommendations and implementations. The PM, designated as key personnel, shall be aware of, understand, and abide by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) policies, regulations, security practices and shall coordinate with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), S-82 Program/Project Management Office (S82 PMO) and other stakeholders to act on matters pertaining to the performance of services under this SOW. The Contractor shall identify and understand project needs, establish guidelines and objectives that are closely related to this effort.
The PM shall identify the resources to be allocated and develop a comprehensive project plan and schedule to meet the deadlines for all requested deliverables in an iterative manner.
The PM shall participate in regular meetings with stakeholders throughout the performance period. They must have excellent oral and written communication, presentation, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision making, and problem-solving skills. Further, they shall provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. The PM will establish goals and plans that meet project objectives. They will also have domain and expert technical knowledge and experience with Agile development methodologies. The Contractor will work closely with various government stakeholders and other technical DOT team members, and subject matter experts in developing solutions which result in a fully functional M365 Project Suite landscape for DOT.
