Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Fort Worth, Texas! This role is on site/in person. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration: **Type:** Two-month contract with opportunity for extension **Schedule:** Monday through Friday, 9am to 6:30pm **Pay:** $18.00 to $18.50 an hour **Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician:** · Answer and direct incoming phone calls from hospice partners · Accurately enter and process prescription information into the pharmacy system for pharmacist review and fulfillment. · Verify patient and prescription data to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. · Communicate effectively with pharmacists regarding prescription clarifications or issues. · Maintain organized and up-to-date patient records. · Support refill requests, prior authorizations, and general inquiries as directed. · Always uphold patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. · Other duties as assigned **Qualifications for the Pharmacy Technician:** · HS Diploma or GED · Active and good standing pharmacy technician license in Texas · Prior pharmacy experience preferred · Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy. · Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills. · Proficient with pharmacy software systems and computer applications. **Why work for Adecco?** · Weekly Pay · 401(k) Plan · Skills Training · Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
