Position: Payroll Specialist/Analyst
Reason for Opening: Assistance needed due to ADP implementation from UKG and a heavily overwhelmed team.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months (Go Live: August 1st)
Onsite Requirement: 4 days onsite in Redwood Shores (Fridays remote preferred; 5 days onsite is a plus) due to heavy mail related to garnishments and EDD forms.
System: UKG CHR
Payroll Type: Weekly and Bi-weekly
Requirements
Role Overview:
+ Primarily a "directing traffic" role, answering questions, and following up with employees regarding termination checks, pay discrepancies, and garnishments.
+ Payroll processing experience is a plus, but not a primary responsibility.
+ A background in union payroll is helpful.
+ Must be proactive, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
+ Strong communication skills and willingness to ask questions and take the initiative are key.
+ Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required.
