About the role

The Park Service Attendant is responsible for ensuring a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment within the water park. This role involves performing routine facility tasks, such as cleaning and organizing park areas, and responding to guest needs. The Attendant will monitor and restock supplies, maintain cleanliness in restrooms and common areas, and ensure all park facilities are in good working order. They must interact with guests to provide information, address concerns, and enhance their overall experience. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, is also essential.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Maintain Cleanliness: Regularly clean and sanitize park areas, including restrooms, common spaces, and facilities.
  • Monitor Park Facilities: Inspect and ensure that all park equipment and facilities are in good working order and report any issues.
  • Restock Supplies: Replenish necessary supplies such as paper products, soap, and trash bags in restrooms and other areas.
  • Assist Guests: Provide information, answer questions, and address any guest concerns to enhance their experience.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Carry out routine tasks such as trash collection, debris removal, and basic repairs as needed.
  • Ensure Safety: Enforce Park rules and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for all guests.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of all Emergency Action Plan (EAP) procedures to effectively handle all emergencies that may occur in the facility.
  • Assist in crowd control in the event of an emergency.
  • Communicate with Human Resources on staffing needs.

  • Proven ability to provide exceptional service and address guest needs effectively.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Strong skills in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a well-organized environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team setting.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Ability to identify and resolve minor issues, with a focus on escalating more significant concerns.
