Description We are looking for a Medical Front Desk Specialist to join our team at our newly established clinic in Irvine, California. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an opportunity to contribute to the growth of an innovative and expanding vein clinic. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator with excellent organizational skills, committed to delivering exceptional patient care and supporting clinic operations. Responsibilities: - Manage patient check-in and check-out processes with attention to accuracy and efficiency. - Schedule medical procedures and follow up with patients to ensure smooth coordination. - Verify insurance benefits and collaborate with billing and preauthorization teams. - Utilize NexGen software to input and maintain accurate patient records. - Provide excellent customer service while answering multi-line phone systems and addressing patient inquiries. - Support clinic expansion efforts by contributing to team collaboration and workflow improvements. - Assist in maintaining a welcoming and detail-oriented environment for patients and staff. - Communicate effectively in both written and spoken English to ensure clear interactions. - Uphold attention to detail in all administrative and patient care tasks. - Learn and support advanced minimally invasive vein treatment procedures. Requirements - Bachelor's degree is required. - At least one year of experience with NexGen systems. - Proficiency in medical insurance billing, verification, and related processes. - Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft Teams. - Strong multitasking skills, including handling multi-line phone systems. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Positive and collaborative personality with a focus on teamwork and patient care. - Ability to commute reliably or relocate to Irvine, California before starting work.
