MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage a team of maintenance technicians and support staff.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to reduce equipment downtime.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for mechanical, electrical, and systems issues.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including safety checks and repairs.
  • Coordinate with procurement to manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
  • Oversee the use of external contractors for specialized repairs and services.
  • Monitor and manage the maintenance budget, controlling costs and optimizing resource use.
  • Prepare detailed reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and downtime incidents.
  • Train and mentor maintenance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facilities systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards related to facility maintenance and safety.
