Instructional Developer Advisor

As an Instructional Developer Advisor you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Instructional Developer Advisor joining our team to work as part of a team to design, develop, and maintain curriculum and curriculum products in support of the Center for Seabees and Facilities Engineering. Responsibilities may also include individual production work, such as test development or course updates, and developing workflows using Microsoft Office 365 applications. HOW AN INSTRUCTIONAL DEVELOPER ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT● Conducts analysis of training requirements and media requirements.
● Develops appropriate training objectives and test methods and designs instructionally valid training materials.
● Ensures integrity of task analysis, training requirements, training hierarchies, instructional materials, and evaluation plans.
● Designs and develops computer-based training, web-based training, and other technology-based learning solutions.
● Develops flow diagrams and storyboards.
● Designs instructionally sound lessons in a variety of delivery media.
● Collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy of instructional content.
● Utilizes CPM/LOM, or other NETC authoring tool as directed.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in education or related field
● Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: MS Office 365
● Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication
● Preferred Skills: Experience designing and developing Navy training/curriculum
● Location: Remote
● US Citizenship Required - Must be a US citizen and be able to pass a qualifying background investigation to meet eligibility requirements for an IT Level II Common Access Card (CAC).
