Job Description

Compensation: $17/hour paid bi-weekly

Shift Time(s): 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM

This is a Part-Time Helper position with MO Routes LLC (the “Company”) delivering packages for MO Routes! 

We need reliable, independent, flexible, hard workers who pay attention to details, can quickly solve problems in a wide range of situations, and win in a fast-paced environment!

• 10-hour shifts are typical
• 3-day workweek Less than 40 hours is typical
• Schedule for PT Team Members is a rotation where team members should not work more than 3 consecutive days, allowing for more personal time

As a Driver Helper at MO Routes, you will play a crucial role in ensuring orders are delivered promptly while ensuring safety! You will start and end your day at Amazon Warehouse: HCH5

Delivery Driver Helper Responsibilities:

• Successfully handle packages 70 pounds in weight, deliver and collect return packages on time 
• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle
• Follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions
• Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs. on a frequent basis; maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs., using material handling equipment, or up to 300 pounds as part of a delivery team; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations
• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
• Must complete all assigned Rescues
• Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes
• Assist drivers with loading and unloading packages
• Assist drivers with navigating on the road and parking
• Work 3-4 days per week with shifts up to 10 hours
• Deliver products up to 300 lbs. to customers in a safe and professional manner
• Work collaboratively with drivers and other team members

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old 
• Must hold a an unexpired state-issued identification
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must successfully pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills
• Ability to lift and carry heavy packages
• Ability to work as part of a motivated team in a fast-paced environment

HIRING PROCESS takes approximately 1-2 WEEKS to COMPLETE. It may take longer if you have an out-of-state driver’s license.
