Description

Position Purpose and Objectives

Aid the VP, Data Analytics in the Strategic Data Management of the Credit Union by analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.

Major Duties And Essential Functions

• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement using data-driven approaches.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Develop and maintain business process models, workflows, and documentation.
• Perform data analysis using SQL and other analytical tools to support business needs.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable insights.
• Present insights and recommendations to management for decision making and strategic planning with effective communication and presentation skills.
• Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, data architects, and other team members to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Provide data-driven insights and analysis to understand drivers of performance.
• Create new data-driven approaches for generating business insights through business analysis.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in business analysis and data analytics.
• Advanced critical thinking, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
• Ability to work unguided and independently.

Requirements

Specific knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position:

• Proficiency in SQL and Power BI.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with business process modeling and documentation.
• Ability to make critical decisions related to business process improvements and data analysis.

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent certifications.

Experience : Minimum five years of similar or related experience.
