The Division of Apprenticeship Standards, Evaluations Unit is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Analyst for the division's headquarters in Oakland. Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) will be managing critical data for the agency. The incumbent serves as the primary database liaison between the DAS and the Information Technology Unit, and as the primary point of contact for Public Records Act requests, managing these requests with both efficiency and precision. The incumbent will also help assist in the processing of training fund contributions and the ADA accessibility.

DAS Headquarters in Oakland, CA

May be required to be in attendance at various DIR/ DAS district offices Statewide.

The incumbent works 40 hours per week in an office setting. Duties are primarily performed in an air conditioned, multiple floor building with elevator access, cubicle with natural and artificial lighting. Majority of time will be in the DAS Headquarters or other DAS district office as needed, may be required to work from home if provided with proper office equipment; typical office tools include (but not limited to) computer, printer/copy/scan/fax machines, stapler, hole punch and filing.

Statement of Qualifications :

Question: Please describe your experience in gathering, analyzing, and reporting data. What specific methods and processes do you follow to ensure accuracy and clarity in your reports? What tools or software have you used in your work?
