CDL in-cab instructor-Weekdays 7:30a-12:30p SAEC, Hudson Falls

CDL in-cab instructor-Weekdays 12:30p-3:30p SAEC, Hudson Falls

CDL in-cab instructor - Weekdays 8:00a-12:30p Myers Center, Saratoga

CDL in-cab instructor-Weekdays 12:30-4:30p Myers Center, Saratoga

CDL in-cab instructor-Weekdays 4:30p-8:30p Myers Center, Saratoga

CDL in-cab instructor-Weekends Myers Center, Saratoga

Flexible scheduling will be considered.

  • Responsible for providing CDL training using instructional methods geared toward the adult learner;

  • Plan lessons based on the learning needs of culturally diverse and multi-skill level students which prepare students to gain/increase skills in the area of CDL driving;

  • Plan and prepare relevant and practical in-cab lessons and monitor students' performance;

  • Implement a variety of instructional delivery methods that include group or individualized instruction;

  • Create a climate that encourages and supports learning;

  • Complete and maintain appropriate student registration, attendance, and assessment records;

  • Responsible for effective in-cab management that enhances student learning;

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated two (2) years experience as a CDL driver* AND

  • Valid NYS CDL A & B Licensure

  • *Behind the wheel instructors must hold CDL of the same (or higher) class and/or the same endorsement required to operate the type of vehicle in which the training is provided*.
