**CNC Programmer - $80,000** Our client, a global leader in the Fishing Tackle Manufacturing Industry is seeking a motivated and skilled CNC Programmer to join their team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for operating both manual and CNC machinery to manufacture high-precision metal and plastic components and tooling. **The ideal candidate should be experienced with both manual and CNC machining, proficient in G-Code, and exude passion and attention to details. What will you be doing? + Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to machine custom and production components, including tools and fixtures. + Accurately calculate dimensions and tolerances; perform layout and measurement of workpieces. + Program, set up, and operate both manual and CNC machines for prototype and production runs. + Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and production staff. + Inspect completed parts using precision instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and CMMs. + Adjust tooling and machine settings. + Assist in identifying and resolving mechanical or operational issues with machines. + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company safety standards. + Document machining procedures, inspection results, and production metrics. What do you bring? + Positive, can-do attitude + High school diploma or equivalent required. + Completion of a technical program or apprenticeship in CNC machining preferred. + **Minimum of 5 years of experience in both manual and CNC machining environments.** + Strong knowledge of machining practices, cutting tools, and working with various metals and plastics. + Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical documentation. + Proficient in CNC programming and knowledgeable in G-code. + Experience with CAD/CAM software systems. + High attention to detail with a commitment to producing precise, high-quality work. + Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. + Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
