Position Summary:
As the Clinical Manager of an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team, you will provide leadership and clinical guidance to help individuals facing severe and persistent mental health challenges. This evidence-based, community-based treatment approach is designed to offer comprehensive, personalized support. You will oversee the clinical operations of the ACT team, provide guidance to team members, manage participant intakes, and ensure the completion of all clinical documentation. Your role will require a mix of independent judgment, prioritization, and collaboration to effectively meet the needs of clients and ensure their success within the program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ACT team, ensuring appropriate staffing and 24/7 coverage as per the ACT model.
Lead daily team and clinical meetings, ensuring that treatment activities are coordinated and that the needs of participants are met.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with law enforcement, community resources, and service providers to enhance client support.
Provide direct ACT interventions, ensuring clients' needs are met and goals are achieved.
Review intake and progress documentation, ensuring that Individual Service Plans (ISPs) are up-to-date and effective.
Oversee the quality of documentation and clinical records, ensuring that interventions align with ACT standards and are medically necessary.
Serve as the active Qualified Practitioner, approving progress notes and service plans.
Provide on-call support for after-hours staff supervision and crisis management.
Ensure that team members are trained in service entitlements and coordinate benefit applications, including Medicaid and other support services.
Oversee clinical services in supported housing and arrange necessary services to support clients' independence and stability.
Lead the orientation and training of new team members and assess ongoing training needs.
Experience and Qualifications:

At least 3-6 years of experience working with individuals facing chronic medical conditions, serious mental health disorders, or substance use challenges.
2-4 years of experience in connecting individuals to social services, crisis management, case management, therapy, and rehabilitation supports.
A Master's Degree in a relevant field is required.
Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LICSW or LCPC) in Washington, DC.
2 years of supervisory experience, with 4 years preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and other standard software applications.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.A.
