International Driving Permit

Description

• Currently, more than 93 countries/places recognise the IDP issued in Hong Kong. An IDP is valid for one year from the date of issue, it can be used for multiple times within the validity period.Eligibility for Application:
  1. holding a HK identity card, and
  2. holding a valid Hong Kong full driving licence

  Supporting Documents:

  1. HK Identity Card (copy) and a valid Hong Kong full driving licence (copy)
  2. 2 identical, new and recent photographs showing the full face (50mmＸ40mm)
  3. address proof (within 3 months)

  Fee:

  1. Handling fee: HK$300
  2. Transport Department fee: HK$80
