Light goods vehicle
Our courses include automatic or manual of light goods vehicles.
The Transport Department suggests at least 30 hours driving lessons should be taken by a beginner. This recommendation is not mandatory. You can arrange your training and course frequency based on your actual situation. Generally about 15-20 course sessions (each session is 1.5 hours) of practice are needed.
Exam Car
For light goods vehicles, we use the latest Toyota Hiace models for teaching. The Hiace is widely welcomed in the transportation industry due to its ease of handling and maintenance.
Exam
- Part A: Written test
- Part B: Reverse/ parallel parking, U-turn, hill start & stop
- Part C: Road test
If you fail either part B or C, you can apply for that part only in your repeater test.
Exam route
The exam rental deposit, car rental fee & tuition fee will not be refunded if you do not proceed the course or exam or your driving permit is expired.
Important notes
- You must be aged 18 years old or above.
- When you pass light goods vehicle road test, the license will include private car and light goods vehicle with a total weight not exceeding 5.5 tons.

- According to the Transport Department, you have to provide the original or a copy of your proof of address issued within the last three months when submitting a licensing application. (Bills or invoices issued by utility companies: water, electricity, towngas, mobile phone suppliers or bank statements.)
